Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Top-10.co.nz. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, we have the right to repair, replace or a refund you for the product.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act

Website User Agreement

This is an Agreement between you and all persons you represent and for purposes of this agreement, "person" includes natural persons and any type of incorporated or unincorporated entity and Top-10.co.nz regarding your access to and use of our website and all content, information, products and services available on or through the website - collectively, the "Website". Each time you use the Website you signify your acceptance and agreement, and the acceptance and agreement of any person you purport to represent, to be bound by this agreement as it then reads, and you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to agree to and accept this agreement on behalf of yourself and any person you purport to represent. If you do not agree with each provision of this agreement, or you are not authorized to agree to and accept this agreement on behalf of the person you purport to represent, you may not access or use the website. Prices, specifications, and images are subject to change without notice. This agreement is in addition to any other agreement you may have with Top-10.co.nz including a transaction agreement.

Returns Policy

Top-10.co.nz does not accept returns except where the basis of the return is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act. So we recommend you to review your order carefully before submitting

Exchange Policy

Top-10.co.nz makes every effort to make sure our product descriptions are as detailed as possible. Please choose carefully as we are unable to exchange product once you've received your order unless we have made a genuine mistake in our description (highly unlikely but worth mentioning) or where your request to exchange is covered by the Consumers Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act. If you think you have a case for a genuine exchange request then please contact us first before sending your order back to us as it may get declined and returned to you. In all cases Proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange. Please note products returned to us for an exchange must be in a resalable condition with packaging intact and all labels etc returned with the item, also, due to copyright issues exchanges are not available on DVD’s, except where the product is deemed faulty.

Warranty Policy

Top-10.co.nz’s warranty policy covers most of our products for 12 months from the purchase date. Warranty claims cover any fault, defect or failure occurring as a result of the manufacturing process. Damage or faults occurring as a result of misuse, accident, or wear and tear is not covered by our warranty policy. If the product is still under warranty then the repair will be at our expense including the freight to return the repaired or replacement product. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer. Top-10.co.nz’s Warranty Policy has 3 solutions to any claim made: a. Wherever possible we will endeavour to repair any fault to a factory issue and return it to you at no charge. b. Where repair is not possible or practical we will replace the product with the same or similar product. c. Where neither of the above solutions is possible or practical then we will issue you with a full refund. .

How to return a product:

If you think that you have a valid reason to return under the policies described above please contact us before sending your order back to us as the processes we use are different depending upon your situation. If you don’t contact us first it could delay your request or result in your claim being rejected.

Top Ten NZ’s sales can be popular and things sell fast therefore it's really important that our customers orders come through with all the information we need. Unfortunately, once you've submitted your order and payment has been accepted we can't make any changes to it – that includes sizes, colours, and quantity and address details. It's not that we don’t wish to but we move fast so you get your parcel quickly and we’re ready for tomorrow's 10 best deals. You don't need to rush things once the product is in your cart as you have between 3 – 5 minutes to finish the order before you lose the product from your basket. In the meantime that product is allocated to you and cannot be purchased by another customer.



Out of Stock and Backorders

Top-10.co.nz does everything to make sure that stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to unforeseen circumstances where we are unable to fulfil your order or source a replacement product. If this should occur we will contact you for a full refund. Please note that we do not offer a backorder or rain check facility.
